Elective and Emergency

The surgical team at EMCO offers a full range of lameness evaluation and surgical services. We offer diagnostic radiography (x-rays), tendon/ligament ultrasound, joint injections, and nuclear scintigraphy/bone scan. Surgical services include elective castration, arthroscopy, laparoscopic procedures, soft tissue surgery, upper respiratory surgery and more. Emergency surgeries include colic surgery, emergency c-sections, fracture and laceration repair, and many more. Surgeries may be performed under general anesthesia or under standing sedation, depending on the procedure.
