Dr. Patrick Worden is the veterinarian in charge of the specialized needs of the Thoroughbred racehorse. Although based in Ocala, Dr. Worden has veterinary licenses in Florida, Kentucky, New York, Maryland and California. He travels to the major Thoroughbred public auctions in Kentucky, Florida, New York, and Maryland. Dr. Worden has years of experience in lameness evaluations, the acquisition and review of repository radiographs and laryngeal function via endoscopic examination. He offers appropriate recommendations, based on their findings, regarding a potential purchase.
